Service in a Catholic school is a central part of the educational experience that involves students helping others and putting their faith into action. Service learning is an important part of Catholic school tenets and helps students connect their faith to their lives and education.
The Sacred Heart community participates in service activities through events and actions. This year we have collected approximately $5,000 in monetary donations and goods.
These include:
Trunk or Treat which benefits the St. Francis Breadline
The Thanksgiving Food Pantry Collection
The Toy collection for Ronald McDonald House
The Candy Grams and Bake Sales by Student Council that are student run, and more.
